Whew! It has been a busy (and a little chaotic) last couple of months but I’m happy to share that I’ve finally wrapped up The Moon Nature Study unit and I couldn’t be more pleased. This is the perfect time of year to study the night sky, especially with the solar eclipse coming up!
If you’ve gone through the Pumpkin Nature Study, this unit study follows the same layout. There are information pages, coloring and activity pages, a journaling page, moon crafts and activities, and of course we have to look at some famous works of art featuring the moon!
My favorite part of this moon nature study is the little moon phases flipbook! It’s such a fun and hands-on way to see the moon’s life cycle come to life.
