FREE Butterfly+ Moth Printables for Your Nature Lessons

Hello friends! We are seeing more and more of our pollinator friends as the summer heats up – giant yellow swallowtails, dainty painted ladies, busy monarchs, and fascinating hawk moths. I put together some free resources for you to share with your children and students, resources I hope will be a blessing to you as we finish out these last summer weeks.

Free 3-D Flying Luna Moth Printable

What I wouldn’t give to see the elusive luna moth in real life!

We had so much fun making this one and testing it out! All you need to do is download and print the luna moth template, cut it out and follow the simple instructions listed on the page. You’ll also need some double-sided tape or strong glue and a clothespin.

Free Butterflies + Moths Print and Coloring Pages

I think this butterflies + moths print looks so pretty hanging up in the homeschool room or classroom (or really any room in your house!).

In this sweet little collection, I’ve also included a moths coloring page (which you can also print on cardstock paper and use as a template for watercolor painting ) as well as a butterfly life cycle coloring page. We raised swallowtail butterflies last summer and highly enjoyed watching all the different life cycle stages firsthand!
